(If not billions?) It's impossible to test each and each line, and test the synergy of all those modules of Windows XP. If Microsoft wanted to test it till it's 99.9% perfect it will take decades, and people will find even more flaws, since only regular usage and hackers can expose some flaws.
Those patches show that Microsoft does care about customers and won't just let them get hacked up and turn the back to them. Sure, theres lot of patches but the turnaround is pretty fast.

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-20T11:40:33</pubDateParsed>
XX on Penguin and glass...

Windows, and the hundreds of patches it has leading up to SP 1 and SP2. Windows is used by 95% of people. That implies that much more users to spot flaws, and it represents a huge base of people to attack. Mac or Linux could have 100 times exploitable flaws as Windows but still gets way less attacks than Windows just because they goes to a very small user base, so crackers just don't care about em.

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-20T11:40:33</pubDateParsed>
XX on Penguin and glass...

Totally agree. Ultimately, however, it does come down to game play and overall enjoyment. I would rather play Crono Trigger than Final Fantasy 8(i don't have a PS2 so i cant compare newer games ), because Crono Trigger is just flat out a more enjoyable game. However, if Chrono Trigger had been made last year, i am sure i would have liked it better because it would have had better graphics and better music. Story and gameplay are what make a game, graphics are just one of the subtle touches that make them that much better.

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-20T11:40:33</pubDateParsed>
ShitsNgiggles on Future of Gaming...the past?

I think the prices for these old games on the GBA are terrible. Old games are great though. I miss the 2D world. Not everything looks better in 3D. I'm happy that they released a new Zelda game with that old Zelda feel.
I hope that Nintendo still releases games with that "ol' school" feel when they release their new portable gaming system.

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-20T11:40:33</pubDateParsed>
Merciel on Future of Gaming...the past?

Great article. Besides which, there are no spelling mistakes in Stealth870's opening blog, apart from the deliberate "teh" which obviously does not denote lack of spelling skills.
Now if Stealth870 would actually write an opinion, then we can argue about it.

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-20T11:40:33</pubDateParsed>
a nonrandom browser on Teh beginning...

...perhaps learning to spell may provide inspiration?

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-20T11:40:33</pubDateParsed>
a random browser on Teh beginning...
